Description
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, market trends, and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Collaborate with key individuals to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that drive business results
- Design and implement efficient and effective financial models, forecasts, and reporting tools to support decision-making processes
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of complex projects, ensuring flawless execution and timely delivery
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on thorough analysis and interpretation of financial data
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and effective methods to consistently enhance financial processes and systems
- Mentor and coach junior analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications
- Tertiary degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fields
- 5 years + experience within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industries
- Solid experience in data warehousing, reporting, analytics tools, and visualisation technologies, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos and JDE
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to determine root causes and develop innovative solutions
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting techniques
- Strong communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to effectively explain complex financial concepts
- Motivated and goal-oriented individual, with a track record of working autonomously and achieving outcomes in a dynamic work setting.
