Description
- Oversee and optimize end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Streamline and standardize procurement workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement operations support professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance on complex procurement issues and ensure team members have the necessary training and resources.
- Lead or participate in projects to implement new tools, systems, or process enhancements.
- Applies advanced subject matter knowledge in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established frameworks.
- Support end-to-end procurement operation activities.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with stakeholders as well as working and coordinating with other departments to review procurement-related information.
- Work with internal stakeholders to onboard suppliers.
- Monitoring and maintenance of supplier master data.
- Work with internal requesters to confirm purchase requirements and advise/support requesters on goods/services.
- Provide process and/or system support and training to internal stakeholders on procurement operation processes ensuring full compliance to corporate governance and SOX.
Qualifications
- Experience in leading and managing a team.
- Solid understanding of procurement and experience working in a procurement environment.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, strong problem-solving skills, and an exceptional stakeholder/supplier service focus.
- Ability to organise and prioritise a variety of tasks and work within strict timeframes.
- Adopts Procurement and Purchasing process improvement changes, suggests opportunities to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness of the overall procurement and purchasing process.
- Self-directed and able to troubleshoot and solve problems independently as well as a team.
- A flexible and adaptable team player with a can-do attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Actively collaborates with team members, across borders, to ensure collective purchasing activities are completed as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Management or Finance.
